«Stockholm 2015» is a book that portrays the capital city of Sweden and its population today. Aimed mainly towards future generations, the book is printed on archive paper made by Billerudkorsnäs, purposely made to stand the test of time. To protect the book even more, a wooden case was made by furniture designer Max Ibañez. The box is made by walnut root and is impregnated to increase strength and resistance to water, fire, moisture, and chemicals.
To portray the whole city, the book includes 100 portraits, each one representing one of the 100 metro stations and its surrounding areas. This gives the book a big variety of personalities – exactly what Stockholm is full of.
